Levelling System Operation Description
Hydraulic system comprises of 4x double acting telescopic cylinders 1x reversible power pack 4x inline check valves 2x 5 ported manifolds, 1x normally closed solenoid double check valve with a manual override 1x adjustable flow control valve.
System control R820 blue tooth programable receiver and TM600 transmitter and wiring loom with potted junction box
Electrical items 1x reverse starter
The telescopic cylinders are operated in pairs so front 2, rear 2, RH side 2 , LH side 2 so the operator depending on the vehicle or trailer position firstly brings down all 4 cylinders until they touch the ground. Then begins to operate them in pairs until the vehicle / trailer is level.
To retract the telescopic cylinders the first function is to lower the vehicle / trailer to the ground, this is done by energising the N/C solenoid check valve which allows the full bore side of the cylinders to open to the tank line directly, the speed of decent is controlled via the adjustable flow control valve, once the vehicle is on the ground the power pack is reversed so the cylinders retract with the oil going back to tank by both direct and via the manifold.
Emergency control – if there is a power failure or technical problem when the vehicle / trailer is off the ground the system can be manually overrode by pressing the manual override button on the solenoid check valve so allowing the vehicle to lower to the ground and then inserting a hex drive into the end of the electric motor ( power pack ) and using a cordless drill driving the pack so allowing the cylinders to fully retract.
Technical functions of levelling system
Output 1 & 2 are the reverse starter Out put 1 extends output 2 retracts
Output 3 is the N/C solenoid check valve
Output 18 Rear LH cylinder
Output 17 Front LH cylinder
Output 16 Front RH cylinder
Output 15 Rear RH cylinder
Programming as follows:
Output 1& 16 & 17 to power down front 2 cylinders
Output 1 & 16 & 19 to power down rear 2 cylinders
Output 1 & 15 & 16 to power down RH side cylinders
Output 1 & 15 & 18 to power down LH side cylinders
Output 3 only for ---seconds to allow vehicle to touch the ground
Output 2 & 3 & 16,17,18,19 to fully retract cylinders
